Franchise Excellence Awards

 

Launched in 1998, FEA continues to be an impetus in raising the global competitiveness of Philippine franchising by the promotion of excellence.  Through the years, FEA winners have become benchmarks of success and forerunners in the growth and advancement of the Philippine franchising sector.  Likewise, FEA encourages many franchise players and entrepreneurs alike to strive further for excellence, which PFA believes is the surest way to become globally competitive. 

 

It is the Philippine franchise sector’s only Award of distinction and sole seal of recognition for excellence given to home-grown and foreign franchise brands, which have epitomized excellence in business growth, ethical practices and good corporate governance. 

 

  1. For Franchisors:
    1. The President’s Award (Food, Retail and Service Categories)
      •  The President’s Award is the highest accolade bestowed to the best performing brands among the Global Filipino Franchise Award winners
      • The award is open to homegrown concepts, with a minimum of 5 years in franchise operations and with at least 2 years of international operations.
    2. The Global Filipino Franchise Award (Food, Retail and Service Categories)
      1. This award is bestowed to Philippine franchise companies, which have become benchmarks in overseas expansion, proudly raising the Philippine flag in foreign markets.
      2. The award is open to homegrown concepts, with a minimum of 5 years in franchise operations and with at least 2 years of international operations.
    3. Outstanding Filipino Franchise Award (Food, Retail and Service: Large (Store size of 81 sqm & above), Medium (Store size of 16 sqm to 80 sqm)   and Small Categories (Store size of 15 sqm & below)
      • This award recognizes Filipino franchises that have become benchmarks in national market penetration through excellent franchise operations and good corporate governance.
      • The award is open to homegrown concepts, with a minimum of 5 years in franchise operations.
    4. International Master Franchise Award (Food, Retail and Service: Large (Store size of 81 sqm & above), Medium (Store size of 16 sqm to 80 sqm)   and Small Categories (Store size of 15 sqm & below)
      • The award recognizes international franchises, which have become benchmarks in franchise operations, particularly in the sustained growth in sales, expansion and employment.
      • The award is open to international master franchises with a minimum of 5 years in franchise operations in the Philippines; and 5 years franchise operations in the country of origin with a stable, credible, and excellent reputation both here and abroad.
    5. Most Promising Filipino Franchise Award (Food, Retail and Service: Large (Store size of 81 sqm & above), Medium (Store size of 16 sqm to 80 sqm) and Small Categories (Store size of 15 sqm & below)
      • The award recognizes MSME Filipino franchises that have the potential to become a major player in the Philippine franchising sector.
      • The award is open to homegrown concepts with at least 3 years of business operations and 2 years of successful franchise operations, with an asset size of 3M and above.
    6. Best Overall Marketing Campaign Award Food, Retail and Service: Large (Store size of 81 sqm & above), Medium (Store size of 16 sqm to 80 sqm)   and Small Categories (Store size of 15 sqm & below)
  • This award recognizes franchise companies with a successful and effective marketing program that contributed significantly to the growth of the company and to the advancement of the franchising sector.
  • This award is open to homegrown and international franchise companies with a minimum of  3 years in franchise operations.
  • Entries must present product, brand, customer loyalty, franchisee recruitment and/or advocacy promotions that have been within the years 2014 to 2016.
  1. For Franchisees:
    1. Regional/ National Franchisee Award   
      • This award recognizes franchisees who have epitomized success and growth in franchise operations.
      • The award is open to all franchisees with single or multiple outlets, with a minimum of 2 consecutive years of successful franchise operations.
      • The winner from this category will be chosen from the Regional Franchisee Awardees, who will be chosen from the following regions:  NCR, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
    2. International Franchisee Award
      • This award honors franchisees of overseas outlets, who have contributed significantly to the growth of the franchise company and in the promotion of its brand, thus helping raise awareness of Philippine brands in the international market.
